Volunteering

We love our volunteers!

Parents, grandparent, aunts, uncles, friends, family, and neighbors are all welcome and encouraged to get involved with our PTA! We have volunteer opportunities ranging from full year committee chair positions to single day events and everything in between. We believe that PTA is as much about building community as it is about supporting our school and we want to make sure everyone has an opportunity to be involved in the way that is best for them. Get Involved — Volunteer!

When adults volunteer, all students benefit! There are many opportunities for families, friends, and community members to get involved. We have all kinds of volunteer opportunities and we need your help!  

Complete the Volunteer Interest form and we will reach out to you with more information. Completing this form does not have to be a firm commitment to help. Just let us know you're interested and we'll find something that works for you.

PTA ART EDUCATION

Did you know that PTA runs the art education program at Northwood? We rely on volunteers to assist our art teachers with the lessons. You do not need to be an artist to help out! Volunteering with the art program is a great way to help in the classroom and enrich our students' education. Volunteers must have completed a background check through NEISD. Email volunteer@northwoodpta.org if you'd like to volunteer.
