Carnival is our favorite family-fun community event of the year and Northwood PTA's largest annual fundraiser. It takes a village to make it happen, and we need your help! We ask all Northwood faculty, staff, and parents to volunteer for at least one 1-hour shift. We also welcome middle school students, high school students, and community volunteers. Plan to come early and stay late to enjoy the Carnival!

Get Involved — Volunteer!

When adults volunteer, all students benefit! There are many opportunities for families, friends, and community members to get involved. We have all kinds of volunteer opportunities and we need your help!  

Complete the Volunteer Interest form and we will reach out to you with more information. Completing this form does not have to be a firm commitment to help. Just let us know you're interested and we'll find something that works for you.

PTA ART EDUCATION

Did you know that PTA runs the art education program at Northwood? We rely on volunteers to assist our art teachers with the lessons. You do not need to be an artist to help out! Volunteering with the art program is a great way to help in the classroom and enrich our students' education. Volunteers must have completed a background check through NEISD. Email volunteer@northwoodpta.org if you'd like to volunteer.
